This true Welshman (yes, he is actually from WALES) has a terrific temperament, a beautiful head and expression, a gorgeous outline (with the proper proportions of height to body length as called for in the standard), excellent bone and nice short hocks. He is a showman from the word go, and went Winners Dog the first time he stepped into an American dog show ring! He finished his American championship in grand style. His two five point majors were garnered by going Winners Dog at the presitgious Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of the Potomac under English breeder-judge Simon Parsons (Deavitte) and Winners Dog and Best of Winners for his second five point major at the Mayflower Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club Specialty under breeder judge Lynn Brooks (Busy B). Shown only eleven times, Merlin finished in only six weeks of showing! Before coming to the US, Merlin qualified for showing at Crufts where he won the Limit Dog Class. Merlin is OFA 3082G/41M (Hips) and TH2/41M (Thyroid). He is CERF #1565. He has tested free of Von Willebrand's Disease (120%). Merlin is owned by Stephanie S. Hedgepath (Jimanie) and Linda B.
